CHRISTMAS CAROLS!! If you missed this week you missed one of most special meetings of the year! The Kennedy High School Choir performed a beautiful concert for us putting us all in the holiday spirit.
Announcements:
- Blood Drive: Bob Butschi from Marion/East challenged us to donate to the blood drive being held on Thursday December 19th from 2-6 at the Cedar Rapids East Donor Center (4828 1st Ave). Please schedule an appointment by contacting either Bob at rmbutschi@gmail.com or Tim Nash at tnashla@gmail.com.
- Metro High School Christmas Gifts- We had another successful Metro High School Christmas project thanks to a $2,500 grant from the Gacioletto Foundation. We were able to shop and wrap presents for 49 Metro High School students, siblings and children!
- Lager 'Lympics 2020 sponsorship drive is starting! Please watch for an email asking you to reach out to your employer for a sponsorship to help with our June 13, 2020 Lager 'Lympics. Proceeds from the sponsorships helps our club achieve our mission of helping disadvantaged children, locally and internationally!
- Thank you Tom Patterson for taking our leftovers to the Willis Dady shelter!
