  • Joke of the day –   While shopping in a food store, two nuns happened to pass by the beer, wine, and liquor section. One asked the other if she would like a beer. The second nun answered that, indeed, it would be very nice to have one, but that she would feel uncomfortable purchasing it.The first nun replied that she would handle it without a problem. She picked up a six-pack and took it to the cashier. The cashier was surprised, so the nun said, “This is for washing our hair.”Without blinking an eye, the cashier reached under the counter and put a package of pretzel sticks in the bag with the beer.“The curlers are on me.”

Speaker: Brian Rosteck, Skogman

Brian, a man of many talents, gave a great talk on what Rotary Foundation can do for us a club.  He recapped three of our most successful international projects.  Two of the projects we did without the help of Foundation and one we received foundation help.  He highlighted how we as a club can be much more effective with our time and treasure with the foundations help.  Our current international project in the hopper is a international water project in Nicaragua. If you are interested in supporting our club through the Rotary Foundation please see Nate Weber or Brian Rosteck.

Next week’s speaker: Mark Sigel, Camp Bangarang

THE FOUR WAY TEST

Is it the TRUTH?
Is it FAIR to all concerned?
Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS?
Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?
