Travero

Jeff Woods is Director of Business Development for Travero in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. A non-regulated arm of Alliant Energy, Travero has provided freight services since 1904 when its primary business – a short-line railroad – began operations. Today, Travero has expanded to include a full suite of logistics solutions and facilities. Travero’s focus centers on giving customers a one-stop shop for customized supply chain solutions.

Jeff has been with Travero and its predecessor companies since 1990. Currently responsible for the company’s business development activities, in earlier roles Jeff managed the daily operations of the firm’s material handling and river terminals. He has a BA in Political Science from Central College in Pella, Iowa, and an MBA from the University of Iowa.
