RYLA Experience and Family Helping Families

Amie Buckley is the Executive Director at Families Helping Families of Iowa. With over 20 years of human service experience, and over 10 years as a foster/adoptive mother, this position feels like a homecoming. With an educational background in development and community psychology and trauma informed care, Amie believes in the power of community and engagement. Amie spends her free time volunteering for Big Brothers/Big Sisters and the Riverview Center and enjoys spending time in nature with her dog. Amie’s 4 children are grown and her youngest has recently made her a Grammie.
